About ThumbGrab

ThumbGrab is a small, focused tool that does one thing well: grab the thumbnail image from any public YouTube video, Short, or live stream, in the best quality YouTube actually has for it. No account, no watermark, nothing to install.

Why This Exists

Most thumbnail downloaders bury a simple task under ads, forced signups, or watermarked output. We built ThumbGrab to strip all of that away — paste a link, get the image, done. How It Works

ThumbGrab fetches thumbnails directly from YouTube's own image servers — the preview you see is the exact file YouTube hosts, not a re-compressed or re-uploaded copy. Nothing you paste into the tool is stored on our servers; the lookup happens on demand, each time, and nothing persists afterward.
